ABOUT ME

As a health and behavioral expert with more than 10 years experience in the field of weight loss, wellness, training and fitness I have seen and heard it all, except what I am about to propose.

Every year thousands of people are taken in my diets that promise quick results. “Medical” weight loss diets, de-tox diets, bar and salad diets, gimmicks to slimmer belly’s and so on. Many times these diets work. The client sees dramatic and exciting weight loss. Physically and psychologically, they are on top of the world. Then slowly and gradually and over a year or two the weight returns and they are back where they started or worse. Do you have to be superhuman to lose weight? NO!

Not enough attention is given to strategies that change our enviroment. Sustainable weight loss is slow but permanant given the right strategy for your life. My philoshophy as a health professional is brain first to create an enviroment that sustains weight loss.

I teach a Behavioral Wieght Loss program desiged to create sustainable weight loss and health. My goal is to teach you how to use the remarkable science of behavior change and create your own strategy and system of weight loss. It is a science that utilizes our natural skills and abilities without the aid of gimmicks, special diets, or willpower.

In addition, Powerful Wellness Solutions is my wellness service dedicated to improving worksite health using Behavioral Economics, Health Education and Promotion, Organizational Psychology and Behavioral techniques for assessents and evaluations to create an holistic, effective wellness program for any business or worksite.

Everything old is new again.

Will I lose weight?

Yes. Depending on what exercises you do. Cardiovascular workouts burn fat. Resistence training or weight training builds muscle, bone and increases metabolism. Proper stretching or yoga induces relaxation, promotes flexiblity, and prevents injury. All three managed correctly promote weight loss and increase physical and mental health.
